Theodore L. Bass

	Theodore Ted L. Bass, age 60, of 7079 White Walnut Rd., Pinckneyville, passed away Saturday evening, April 7, 2001 at 6:47 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Ted was born April 29, 1940 in Cutler, the son of Benton and Zella (Treadway) Bass.  He was united in marriage December 22, 1979 to Rose Heiple in the Winkle Baptist Church and she survives.
	Ted was a retired Boilermaker from Local #363, farmed and was the owner of Bass Game Bird Hunting Preserve north of Pinckneyville.  Ted was a member of the Pyramid Golden goblers of Pinckneyville, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation-Shawnee Chapter, a Mason and a lifelong resident of the Pinckneyville area.
	 Ted is survived by his wife, Rose of Pinckneyville; mother, Zella Bass Boyd also of Pinckneyville; one son, Douglas Allen Bass of DuQuoin; two daughters, Angela Dawn Bass and Jennifer Kay Heiple, both of DuQuoin; two sisters, Patsy Shute and her husband Jeff of Pinckneyville and Phyllis Leininger of Toluca; four grandchildren, Jesse Storm Griffiths, Brandon Michael Bass, Teri Jo Bass and Laci Dawn Bass.  He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Benton Bass.
	Funeral services were Wednesday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville with Rev. Rob Mathis officiating.  Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. and again on the day of services from 8 to 11 a.m. 
	Memorials may be made to the Pyramid Golden Goblers of Pinckneyville or the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation-Shawnee Chapter.
